To prepare for future world-altering events such as the Meteno Impact evemt, the League had invited Gym Leaders and others to participate in a simulation of high stress scenarios. Having ridden Raikou in the fantasy world of NINE: True Goddess Reincarnation, the Mauville Leader, Josh Devlin , was no stranger to the intricacies of full-sim environments and the legal limitations of its engagements.

Entering into the den alongside the Manectric-mounted trainer was Zahra Poetri - the female he accidentally bumped into at the ice rink. "Hi, Zahra! Wasn't expecting to run into you out here!"

The Hoenn Desert's landscape was a familiar playground. With the overcast conditions and lack of wind, it beckoned the Gym Leader to push Saber into flooring it. While it wouldn't be the same as doing so in the real world, it would still stimulate his muscles enough to experience the familiar rush of high speed.

Therefore, she rush in without waiting for Josh and the very first thing that she sees is that a beautiful purple chunk that emits a pulsating red from the crevice of the rocks. Her curiosity has been tickled and now she acts as her hand is reaching out to the rock and ready to touch if Josh is not stopping her.

Unexpected meetings were not as infrequent as was commonly thought. Josh's social circle was enormous, by virtue of being a Gym Leader. "Careful, Zahra! This isn't a normal full-sim environment. If something untoward happens, it could happen in the real world, too."

The purple rocks reminded Josh of his trip through Galar last spring. He had seen all too many stones like it, and knew of the danger that came with them. "Get your Pokémon ready," the Gym Leader warned, a faint yellow glow surrounding him and his Manectric as he turned his mount to one side so he could reach the stone and touch it alongside Zahra.

The sudden flood of white light that is currently emitted through the stone blind her momentarily but once she bears with her bearing - Zahra saw a spectacular sight that one would hardly to encounter in normal basis. Sure, this might be just a simulation - However, the sight alone manages to awe struck her to the core. The clash of the mythical being, exchanging blows and cries amongst them and as the bystander - Zahra could feel it right to the core. As part of the Eternatus's body falls to the ground - the rock pulsates many time as the reality starts to break down and the simulation ended which leaves her speechless with a wide grin on her face. Now she wants to do something else next!

While the Galar Memory was fleeting, he did remember the giant skeleton in the sky. The same one that, at the bottom of the Ultra Sea, he had mined Dynite Ore out of for the League many, many times. Was this the creature's origin story? He couldn't remember much about the creature itself; the only memory that solidly stayed with him was cleaving through its many underlings, wielding an electric blade whose edge became sharper at high speeds. He had used it while riding, to his knowledge, the fastest Pokémon on land: kyle lopez 's ashen Raikou. That knowledge was shaken when he met Koraidon in the simulation. Was the Paradox Pokémon faster than even Raikou?

The clash between Deoxys and Eternatus brought back another horrific memory: Meteno. The day when the Deoxys nearly took the life of his Pyroar pride's king, Aslan. The young man turned his Manectric steed around, fleeing at high speed in his paranoia, when the simulation faded to white...

As she enters the new simulations, her eyes sparkles as she glances over Josh with pure excitement like a child just receives a gift. That. Is. So. Cool! Zahra exclaims trying to hold herself not to jump up and down. It takes her quite while for her to calm herself down an once she calm herself down - she finally notices the talking tree that trying to talk to her. What's the deal with that tree? I would burn it if you ask me since it is hella' suspicious. First, water... what next? So should we burn it? Zahra asks Josh for an opinion.

As the simulation advanced into a wooded sanctuary seemingly untouched for centuries, Josh froze. It may have been unsettling for Zahra Poetri to see genuine unease to materialize on the Gym Leader's face. While they were pure white, something about the shape of the upper branches bothered him more than it should have. They looked far too familiar.

"I can't quite put a finger on why... but I don't like that idea," the Master of Faster slowly replied. When even Saber would not get closer, that reinforced his suspicions. It looked too much like the tall, graceful, and quadrupedal Pokémon bryan delarosa nearly killed Hylda with at Dewford. If they engaged such a creature, they would stand little chance of victory. With Saber wanting to give the white tree a wide berth, Josh withdrew the Manectric for Aleph, his Type: Null, who looked on edge and a lot more willing to battle such a fearsome foe if things escalated.

The sight of the tree turning alive is quite breathtaking and majestic showing her gratitude. Imagine if Josh did what she said she is going to do earlier - bet it reaction would be turning 180 degree. Might become much more solemn but most likely it would be hella lit tho' [break][break]

Zahra doesn't show any remorse upon her suggestion to lit up the tree from before but as it has passed - She believes that she doesn't need to fuss more about it and get ready for the next simulation

Eventually, your out of world experience is interrupted by a violent rocking of your vessel and blaring alarms. A large hand-like being crushes a part of your ship as if in search of you and your friends.[break][break]

Such a shame that they end up watering the tree instead lighting it to fire. Well, it is what it is - now all they need to do is to face the other simulations that they are going to face. Now she find herself in a space ship with many advanced technologies that completely above her paygrade. She doesn't know what is what amongst the many button that stretches throughout the space ship. Then the blaring alarm snaps her back to the reality and now the challenges of the simulation comes. The ground on the ship shakes violently then a giant arms crawls trying to seek upon for something or someone. [break][break]

How funny would it be if I just push Josh for funsies Zahra ponders trying to think on what she should do next

As the grove faded into the scene of the interior of a space ship that curiously resembled the Megapololan vessels he had explored during his time in the Ultra Sea, Josh was on edge. Where was the vessel headed, and what was its purpose? Perhaps its computer would have a log book he could comb through to piece the mystery together. The Gym Leader wandered away from Zahra to examine the terminals on the command deck, looking for files he could pore.

Before he could get very far, klaxons made communication almost impossible, Josh able to seal his helmet just as a white and gold hand grabbed him from outside the spacecraft. The loss of air pressure threatened to suck Zahra out of the ship, as well, provided he wasn't holding onto something when the air lock failed. Whether Josh wanted to or not, he was being carried away along with Aleph.
